Prove Me Wrong Pottery’s summer collection, “Rita’s Kitchen” is a celebration of the little intimate details that make up a home. There’s a reason Italians always say the kitchen is the soul of the home, because it is the symbol of warmth. The pièce de résistance of the Rita’s Kitchen Collection… the Prove Me Wrong Ceramic AP Tomato Utility Can is one of those intimate handmade pieces you can just see the love in.

RITA’S KITCHEN: THE COLLECTION 🥫 🍋 🍅
Whether it be opening the front door on a Sunday morning and being hit with the overwhelming aroma of a homemade tomato sauce that’s been cooking since 5am… or the crushed red peppers that magically appear on the kitchen table alongside the freshly boiled pasta… or the sound of the revolving front door letting people in and out throughout the day.
Jamie of Prove Me Wrong Pottery wanted to gesture to all of these tiny intimate moments in his summer collection Rita’s Kitchen: an ode to his (and Bianca’s) mother, Rita DiNicola, the maker of all things beautiful — pasta, tomato sauce, lemon chicken, meatballs, and most importantly, family and tradition.
